Low GPU demand leads to high frame rates in Warzone 2080 Super.
Low GPU demand leads to high frame rates in Warzone 2080 Super.
I recently purchased a new computer and am looking forward to playing Warzone. However, I'm feeling quite disappointed with the FPS performance. In regular gameplay, I usually see around 90 FPS, but I notice much lower speeds when scanning the downtown area or the middle of the map. I've tried everything possible—restarting Windows, adjusting settings via adv.options and in-game options, checking NVIDIA configurations, etc. If anyone has experienced similar issues, could you please assist? It might be a CPU bottleneck, though I'm not entirely sure. When I run Apex with maximum settings, the GPU usage is around 70-90%. Confirming this would help clarify what's causing the problem and allow me to stop second-guessing.
I believe my computer is fine since I maintain around 200 fps in titles such as Apex Legends.
Download 3D Mark and test Timespy to check your system performance. Also, confirm your Warzone settings—resolution and frame rate. At 90 FPS it looks like you’re using optimal configurations.
Your configuration isn't performing well compared to others who have weaker GPUs. They're averaging about 120 FPS at full settings, while you're seeing much lower numbers.
I have the same issue, getting only 70-85 FPS even if I change all graphic settings to low/disabled. any help on this would be greatly appreciated, I tried multiple things, nothing worked. My rig: Video: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Memory: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 OS: Windows 10 Pro (The game is running from an Addlink SSD NVMe)
Did you verify your RTX is installed? It often turns itself back on after an update.
Confirm your Windows power options are configured properly (high performance mode).
Activate NVIDIA DLSS within the COD settings.
You're asking about RTX settings and performance details.
Check the manufacturer's website or official documentation for specific guidance.
It's noted that "High performance" mode is available, but Warzone currently lacks DLSS support, though they plan to add it soon.
