I own a computer with the specifications mentioned below:
rx 6600 8GB
i3 10100f
msi b560m pro-e
16gb ddr4 3200mhz (xmp mode activated in bios)
crucial MX500 1TB
silentiumpc vero l3 700W
My issue is that in most games my CPU and graphics card utilization remains minimal. This occurs during Call of Duty: Mw2 beta, BF 2042, Far Cry 5, Far Cry 4, Valorant, The Division 2, Borderlands 3 and a few others.
For instance in Mw2 the stats are: 78% GPU (55°C), 50% CPU (48°C), 10GB RAM, 7.4GB VRAM. The concern isn't the VRAM since Far Cry 5 for example used significantly less memory.

there aren't many games that fully utilize all eight CPU threads. with 50% CPU usage, only four threads are in use, leaving the remaining four for other tasks. as long as the GPU isn't at 100%, it waits for the CPU to assign work. you could boost resolution, enable antialiasing, or apply post-processing effects to make better use of your GPU without sacrificing FPS. to achieve higher FPS, you'll likely need to upgrade the CPU.

Check if the i5 11400f supports 1080p or consider upgrading with a new motherboard and a newer CPU.

Don't focus on CPU or GPU usage numbers—they don't tell the whole story. Instead, check how smoothly things run in games. Are you satisfied? If yes, everything's fine. If not, we can examine whether your hardware is delivering the performance you expect. Usually, starting with the lowest graphics settings helps identify issues.
