You're experiencing low frame rates in Apex Legends, only reaching 60-65 FPS with some stuttering. In spectator mode it spikes to 165 FPS. This is your first playthrough in months and you used to enjoy smooth 165 FPS consistently. The issue might be related to system load or cooling. Your hardware stats show high CPU and GPU performance, but the monitor's DisplayPort connection could be a bottleneck. Consider checking cable quality, ensuring proper ventilation, and monitoring temperatures if needed.

using qhd with a 4k screen? if you're at full capacity or ray-traced, that's probably fine. try fsr to see if it makes a difference, or maybe the system is having issues that lower performance—we don't know what's happening.

The resolution matches 3440x1440. All configurations are set to high performance, and the card consistently runs smoothly—even at 165 FPS previously. To investigate potential OS-related issues, you can review system logs or performance monitoring tools.

It seems the problem might be related to the game environment, not unique to Apex. Have you noticed similar issues with other titles? If it's solely Apex, verify your in-game configurations and settings.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I've been using Apex regularly without any problems, though it's possible an update might have affected performance. I haven't tested other titles yet—Hearthstone is fine since it's not too demanding on the GPU. Also, would this work with the 165 FPS you saw in spectator mode? That means the game runs smoothly at that speed during playback.
