Hi, your PC setup seems to be causing performance issues in different game modes. With the GTX 1050 and an older CPU, you're likely experiencing strain in competitive matches, while deathmatch and some maps are even more taxing. It's normal for CSGO workshop maps to be demanding on CPU resources. Upgrading your CPU or optimizing your system could definitely help push your FPS above 40.

Boost the CPU overclocking. FPS in CS:GO varies based on bots, characters, and map complexity. Consider increasing the settings slightly. What resolution are you using?

Problem occurs in CSGO where you play on Valve servers. In workshop maps, the person starting the game manages the server, meaning as the host who picks the map, you may experience lag due to CPU constraints.

1920x1080 resolution in a 16:9 format works well. Anti-aliasing shouldn't affect your frames if implemented properly.

Focus on improving maps for fast FPS performance, as many users avoid them due to long load times. Additionally, address the CPU limitation.

Workshop maps are created by players. It's possible they aren't familiar with proper optimization techniques.

They block any Source game completely. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 1700X and TF2 bots on a workshop map, causing my CPU to lag significantly.
