I've seen few games that keep my frame rate around 20-25 FPS. My setup isn't top-tier, but it's still noticeable. Would a Titan Z with an i7-4790K help push it up to 60 FPS?

Arma dislikes the FX series CPUs due to their lower performance per core ratio, performing better with fewer faster cores.

It seems your CPU is struggling. You mentioned having a 7970, but it isn't running smoothly. Even though the game isn't optimized well, you might notice better frame rates if you upgrade to a more powerful processor. However, achieving 60 FPS will still require significant upgrades.

The setup wouldn't work because each card only covers two Titans, not three. (This is due to the dual GPU card design.)

I came across FX6300 while chuckling too hard. ARMA III on an AMD processor? Not quite.

Choose the Intel Core i5-4690K for optimal performance, or upgrade a modern i3 with heavy optimization.

Above the FX4xxx line isn't worth the price. Even the FX8950 can't manage ARMA III.
