Low frame rate game on a high-end PC
Hey! I upgraded my system because the previous one couldn't handle newer games like Warzone and GTA V well. I was excited when everything arrived and set up my current configuration: GTX 2070 Super Quiet 600W, i5-10600K, 16GB RAM at 3800MHz, plus a 1TB HDD and a 256GB SSD. After updating the BIOS and drivers, I saw good FPS—around 150 in Warzone on high settings. Everything worked smoothly until recently. I checked benchmarking tools and settings like Nvidia’s 3D options or Windows power plans, but nothing improved much. I’m not sure if it’s a software glitch or a hardware issue. Do you have any suggestions I could try?
It seems the issue is likely related to software rather than gameplay itself. Are all titles experiencing similar problems?
I noticed that the majority of games I played used minimal GPU power—typically around 3-5%. This includes titles like Warzone, GTA V, and League of Legends, Minecraft, which generally handle well without significant strain.
It appears the problem might be related to drivers initially. Have you attempted deleting drivers using DDU and then reinstalling them?
