I recently assembled a new PC primarily for gaming, conducting research on CPU/GPU compatibility and potential bottlenecks. My build includes: an MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX motherboard, an AMD RYZEN 7 3700X processor, an MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, and Patriot Viper 4 memory. I also have a Corsair TX750W power supply and a 1TB Seagate HDD. Currently, I lack an SSD or M.2 drive. My performance in CoD Warzone is averaging around 65 FPS at maximum settings, which is lower than the reported 100+ FPS for similar configurations. Temperatures remain below 75°C, packet loss is under 3%, and I suspect a bottleneck, possibly due to the Ryzen 7 3700X slightly limiting the RX 5700 XT’s performance. I'm questioning whether my build is suboptimal or if there’s an incompatibility issue. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, let’s talk about Warzone performance. First off, when you’re out in the open, battling it out with a lot of textures, press Win + G to check your system’s performance metrics – that’ll help pinpoint any hardware bottlenecks. Second, achieving high frame rates at 4K is challenging; consider your graphics configuration and whether MSAA settings are impacting performance. Sometimes, issues arise from shadow cache configurations or other graphical settings needing optimization. Finally, SSDs significantly impact game loading times and overall performance due to their faster data access speeds – a factor Sony recognizes in the PS5’s design.

The resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz feels quite adequate, but contemplating a 4K display is intriguing. Currently, the average frame rate is 43 with peaks reaching 65.

If you have a 60Hz monitor, you wont see anything over 60FPS. It's not capable of anything higher.

The Ryzen 7 3700X isn’t bottlenecked at all! It's not about your CPU; the GPU is decent though! I got 45 fps on a 1600x900 screen with high settings using a 1060 6GB. Your GPU should easily provide stable 60fps (don’t try to increase it for a 60Hz monitor). The game's optimization is creepy! Try full-screen and windowed borderless modes – they can affect fps. Razor Game Assist can also optimize the game; test that out, and let me know if it solves the issue. Good luck.

Greetings, I apologize for the delay. Are you still experiencing difficulties? Please ensure you are utilizing the “ryzen high performance” setting within power options to enable a more efficient scheduler. Additionally, verify that your fabric clock is configured at 1800 or higher to facilitate faster core communication between modules.
