Hi there! Your main concern is your graphics card. It seems it can't handle GTAv smoothly at 60 frames per second unless you lower the settings significantly. Upgrading your GPU might be necessary, and the power supply unit will play a big role in what performance you achieve. Do you own a pre-built system or a custom-built PC?

Understood. I’ll handle the upgrade and check the performance afterward. A custom-built PC means everything is tailored for your needs. Regarding the PSU, it’s the power supply unit that delivers electricity to the components.

You're looking for a PSU that provides 500 watts. For your current setup with around 1.4GB of VRAM, you might want something more robust to handle the load. Also, even with limited VRAM, performance at 60fps depends on many factors—check your GPU's power requirements and ensure the PSU can sustain them.

The GT 740 won’t handle good graphics well. GTA V runs smoothly at reasonable settings, so you can enjoy it without high performance demands. A 500W power supply works fine for a mid-range GPU like GTX 1650 or 1660 Ti. Just check the PSU has an 80+ certification (strongly advised) or is from a reputable brand.
