I just set up Division 2 on my PC and from the benchmark video it seems I should be achieving at least +20 FPS with my hardware, but I’m seeing around 50-55 FPS on average, sometimes even in the mid-45s. I tried optimizing the game with GeForce Experience, used gaming booster on Asus GPU Tweak II, and followed the same settings as the person in the video, yet nothing improved. I haven’t found a clear cause for the problem anyone can help me with.

Your PC specs:
- Asus Turbo 1080Ti
- Ryzen 5 3600
- Stock Corsair 2x8GB 3000Mhz CL16
- Gigabyte B450 1440p 144HZ display with Freesync and HDR

Let me know if you need further troubleshooting steps!

GFE has a record of making mistakes quite often. I advise everyone using it to avoid it unless it's specifically for Shadowplay—like me. GFE-Optimization has sparked numerous discussions on forums since it's problematic; it can produce precisely what you observe, yet rarely makes you suspect the root cause. Try turning off GF-OPTIMIZATION and choosing your own graphical settings in-game instead.

He might be adjusting graphics options elsewhere. Could his GPU be stocked and overclocked? Also, is HDR being applied?

I attempted to push performance to its limit, but it didn’t improve, so I set the configuration to match the benchmark, achieving around 50 frames per second on average. Using GFE optimization lowered it to about 45 fps.

Are you required to return to GFE and turn off the optimization? If yes, did you proceed with that action?

HDR enhances visual quality by improving brightness, contrast, and color accuracy in displays.

Probably limited details available, though not much is known about it.

I also disabled it for each match. I tried that too, turned off the HDR both inside the game and via Windows, but it didn’t really help much.

FPS dropped by 10.5%, bringing the average down to 55fps. This means around 61.4 is typical, possibly due to silicon lottery, a slightly overclocked chip, some thermal effects, and a few other factors.

I don't have a physical CPU or GPU, but I'm optimized for smooth performance during games.
