Low fps on BF 1
PC specifications are as follows:
Ryzen 5 2600 @ stock
gigabyte x470
Rx 580 8gb
8gb ram kit 3000mhz
250gb ssd
1tb hdd
650w 80+gold
I achieve around 144fps in most games (almost all) at low settings on 1080p, but not with bf1. Even at ultra or low settings, fps rarely reach 100.
Ultra = 75-90fps
Low = 80-99fps
Initially, I wondered if the issue stemmed from a CPU bottleneck, considering the 3600 MHz max frequency of the Ryzen 2600 across all cores.
I tried overclocking to 4.0ghz on every core, but the problem persisted—fps never surpassed 100, and GPU usage fluctuated between 0% and 50%, sometimes hitting 100% on MSI after using the burner.
What’s the real cause? Which part is limiting performance? I can run other games at 144hz, but this one is the only one causing trouble.
