I installed Minecraft for my brother and noticed he was confused too. My graphics were only delivering 40-100 frames per second. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the performance?

The CPU is a limiting factor. Minecraft requires a lot of processing power.

Back then, using an Intel core duo 2 with a GTX 280 gave me more than 700 frames per second. It's hard to believe a 7-year-old CPU could match that performance today!

It's not as demanding as it seems, and your processor isn't very strong. Still, achieving 40-100 frames per second is manageable.

Minecraft works well on a Raspberry Pi despite its slow performance. It’s quite simple compared to the full version, offering only a portion of its capabilities. Those extra features cost more in terms of resources.
