Low FPS Issue
Low FPS Issue
The system is showing reduced frame rates in games. In Counter-Strike 2 the average drops to 170-250 FPS, and in Valorant it falls between 200-250, sometimes as low as 110 FPS. I’ve confirmed the BIOS and chipset drivers are current, RAM is at 3600MHz. Possible causes could be related to GPU performance or background processes. Consider checking for driver updates, closing unnecessary programs, and ensuring no hardware conflicts.
while FSP does provide some top-notch units, they also create lower-quality ones. this model seems to be among their less advanced versions. it might struggle to supply the necessary power for the system to function properly. although achieving 200+ fps is impressive with higher in-game settings and resolutions, try reducing all in-game options and observe if the frame rate noticeably improves.
Without any monitoring software, troubleshooting becomes extremely difficult. For instance:
- What is your GPU usage while playing? (GPU constrained, check temperatures/power settings if speed is low)
- What is your CPU usage per core during gameplay? (CPU limited, review temps/power settings if speed is low. Also search for known issues with the platform or game)
- What are the GPU/CPU temperatures while playing? (Further details on previous points)
On my setup, I keep MSI Afterburner active, along with Task Manager (Performance tab -> Logical Processors) or AMD Ryzen Master to track these metrics when I suspect a problem or adjust settings. Tools like HWiNFO are also extremely useful. Just a note, I’m not trying to be dismissive or condescending. The data from these tools can really help when you’re stuck and need to consult forums (such as this one or the game’s official site).
