Low FPS in Warzone
Low FPS in Warzone
Hello, I'm experiencing low FPS (90-130) when playing Warzone at low settings and 1080p resolution.
My UB is here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/39288799
Please let me know if anyone can assist.
Tanks in advance.
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB model priced at $115. Recent user benchmarks show an average performance of 83%. Two out of four slots are currently in use. The 16GB DIMM is running at a clock speed of 2133 MHz. Enable XMP/DOCP settings in the BIOS and set the RAM to 2933MHz; it's currently operating at 2133MHz.
Yes and yes. My MSI 2080 gaming trio always runs the fans at full speed whenever I play heavier games, and I can't adjust this using any software. It's been this way since I first purchased it.
I ran two benchmarks and checked the results. The first time it said my PC was underperforming, but now it looks different. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/39394858
Am I okay? The GPU fans are always running at full speed.
When fans run at full speed continuously, it usually means the GPU was either manually increased to 100% or the case cooling isn’t enough. This particular cooler on the card isn’t the issue. A temperature between 72 to 73 degrees during a moderately demanding game is acceptable and won’t damage the GPU. With proper case cooling, a slight overclock of about +80 for the core combined with aggressive fan speeds at around 21°C will bring the GPU temperature down to 67 to 69 degrees after extended benchmarking like Heaven or a tough game. You can also create your own manual fan speed curve. Download and install MSI Afterburner version 461.40, then follow tutorials on YouTube. With these temperatures, I wouldn’t recommend overclocking the card using Afterburner. Here’s an example of an aggressive fan curve for that card via MSI Afterburner: https://imgur.com/8qgLTGS View: https://imgur.com/8qgLTGS
I had previously attempted that, but I gave it another try with your curve. I still managed full speed fans (around 3500 rpm) while keeping the GPU at about 70 degrees. In my setup there is one exhaust on the back (it's a quiet fan), one intake up top, and another intake at the front.
