I'm frustrated because the performance I experienced when I first got my PC doesn't match what I remember. Back then, with the game launching, my FPS was around 450+, and it improved to about 200+ as the game went on. Now I'm seeing around 280 FPS at start, then dropping to 120-100 as the game progresses. Some people have complained about this, but I haven't noticed any issues myself. My system specs are an i5 7600 GTX 1070 with 8 GB RAM and a PSU from Newegg. I understand the PSU isn't great, but it doesn't seem to be causing major problems. Other games like CS:GO and DOOM are the only ones where I've checked FPS, and they're not affected. I'm hoping someone can help me understand what's going on.

You play League of Legends using settings tuned for performance, such as Nvidia GeForce Experience optimized to Ultra 8K or similar high settings.

It's likely there have been graphics improvements in League of Legends over the past two and a half years, like better textures, which could be affecting your FPS.
