Hey, I've been struggling with low FPS in CS on my PC. It's a decent machine with a Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1080 at 3000MHz. I've tried everything—from updating BIOS to reinstalling Windows and even overclocking. My current stats are around 150-200 FPS on a 240Hz monitor.

You've tried adjusting all the settings in the Nvidia control panel to reach maximum performance. Checked temperatures and considered thermal throttling on CPU or GPU. If the GPU is outdated, it may struggle beyond those limits. At 1080p with GTX 1080, you can typically hit around 250 FPS. It seems like server issues might be causing lag, especially during intense matches—those flickering red warnings and red flags in deathmatch are common problems.

I'm experiencing an issue on all low 4:3 settings, no high temperatures, and I've adjusted all the options. Still facing a problem.

I discovered the issue is related to VRM coil noise. Occasionally it fluctuates and the computer freezes briefly—about half a second—three to five times during audio playback.
