PC specifications
Upgraded to a Ryzen 9 5900X, GeForce RTX 3060, 32GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS TUF Gaming B450M micro ATX
Display resolution: 2560x1440 at 164Hz
Recently switched from a Ryzen 5 1600 to the Ryzen 9 5900X, but experiencing lower frame rates now, around 40 FPS in games like Ark Ascended. CPU and GPU usage were only 15%, yet I made several power and performance adjustments. This increased GPU usage to 99% while maintaining 40% CPU usage, but still achieving only 40 FPS—mainly with medium graphics. Previously, at 99% CPU usage, I got 35-50 FPS. I’ve checked numerous online resources for solutions and hope someone can assist further. What additional steps could help improve my FPS?

Bios isn't the newest version, but it's updated sufficiently to work with my cup and GPU. Should I keep updating it? Yes, Windows recognizes all cores. It seems to be a Corsair RM750X model, probably similar.

Have you reinstalled Windows following the installation of new parts? This might assist. Additionally, ensure you remove all previous drivers and apply the most recent versions suited to your setup.
