I noticed the CPU performance varies a lot depending on the game. It can drop to just 1% or even higher, then return to near nothing again. This seems unusual. Could there be an issue with the processor itself or something in the BIOS settings? If you have any suggestions or explanations, I’d appreciate it. My system specs are: Ryzen 9 5350X, RTX 3080, 10GB RAM, 32GB storage, 3600MHz CPU, 850W power supply. I usually play in 4K, but the usage stays consistent regardless of resolution. In lower resolutions, it should reflect more CPU load, yet it doesn’t.
A few games perform badly, similar to The Witcher 3 post-next-gen update. I notice issues with GeForce Experience and XboxBar, so I plan to test MSI Afterburner. I’ll open Task Manager for more details.
I read about the Witcher 3 next-gen update on other forums. It seems the game struggles with GPU optimization, often using 80-85% of resources, sometimes reaching 95% or more. Occasionally it drops to 30 fps at 40 FPS and can't hit 60 in any settings or resets. In contrast, Assassin's Creed Valhalla maintains around 95-99% usage with stable 50-60 fps.
