Consider purchasing Windows 10 from the official Microsoft website or a reputable OEM key seller. Avoid buying from unverified sources to ensure legitimacy and security.

I purchase them on eBay for 5 to 10 euros consistently. No problems encountered.

Check kinguin.net or eBay for affordable, genuine Microsoft sites. Official MS versions typically cost around 145 euros for Windows 10 Home.

Absolutely, I agree that $200 seems a bit too high!

This seems confusing. 200$ feels too high, especially with free options like Linux available. Since the user prefers a Windows solution, talking about Linux isn’t really useful for this discussion.

You already use powerful tools like Blender, Inkscape, GIMP, and Krita. Linux works well for you too! I believe purchasing a budget Windows key from eBay or similar sites could be a good option.

Ask your friend about his willingness to pay for just the operating system, keeping the actual price secret until the last moment. Some might prefer not to spend any money or need official CD keys.
