I assembled this system around mid-December 2021. It has worked well until my power source failed and I had to replace it. The old PSU seemed questionable, so I anticipated that. Throughout its operation, even before the PSU stopped working, I experienced this recurring problem each month. When I powered on, I’d check the motherboard lights to confirm proper startup. Initially, the lights would spin around four times, only illuminating the VGA port until it restarted. Once that happened, the light stayed lit and the system never booted. I checked for delays or errors but found nothing unusual. After trying a workaround, I removed the CMOS battery for about 5 to 10 minutes, disconnected power from the PC, and then reinserted it—then everything functioned normally. The looping behavior stopped, and it would boot successfully afterward. Later, when I swapped in a newer PSU with higher voltage, the issue disappeared. I still suspect a motherboard problem but lack concrete evidence. I’ve attached some recordings for reference. The first was before resetting the CMOS; the second after. The first file is 5x faster, the second 7.5x due to size limits. Have you refreshed the information about this platform? Avoid beta releases and stick to the main version.

I changed my bios that day, yet the same problem occurred recently. Fortunately, my computer is working again, though I’m unsure what’s causing the issue since the bios don’t require an update now.

Check if CSM is turned off. If unsure, describe the symptoms or they should match what you expect.

You notice the ATX24 connector seems loosely attached on some videos, though it shouldn't be. Could trying to reinsert the GPU or RAM fix the issue?
