I'm considering an upgrade to a larger memory setup. My motherboard (ASUS PRIME B360M-A) has two dual channels, giving me four slots total. I aim for 16GB of RAM but don’t know what to choose since I’m new to this. Two options come to mind: stick with the same type and quantity or purchase a new module with higher speeds such as 2666 or 3200. Before deciding, I want to understand any downsides—like performance differences between using two slots versus all four, or if faster RAM really adds value. Also, compatibility and power supply are important factors. Let me know if you have more details about my current configuration!
