You're considering an ultrawide monitor priced at 200€, which fits within your budget. The 75Hz refresh rate is a step up from your current 60Hz, making it a worthwhile upgrade. There aren't any major drawbacks mentioned, though performance at 2560x1080 might depend on your specific GPU capabilities. Overall, it seems like a good choice given your preferences and needs.

It varies based on the game and your desired performance. It's slightly less powerful than my card, but I use the same display (or a similar one), and I play games without issues. It doesn't always run at full settings, but since it's an older card, it's not what I'm aiming for. Upgrading your GPU isn't necessary just yet.

You're considering a budget monitor now while you wait for an RTX 3060. At around $900, it's a reasonable price in Serbia. You plan to play games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, TFT, LoL, CSGO, and many story titles, and you hope to upgrade later this year. Your RX 580 with 4GB RAM should handle the native resolution of most modern games at a minimum 60fps.

It varies by game. My card doesn't work in all of them, and it performs better than the RX580.

I have a brother who uses that monitor, and I owned an um67 before. Both are excellent. The 75hz works well, though it doesn’t change everything. There’s a decent LC Power model with the same panel size and 100hz if you need extra speed. But colors won’t be as good. Most of the time ultrawide is fine, but some games might have problems. It really improved, though. I used to run that setup with a GTX 1060 6gb and it worked just fine. Now my 3060 struggles at 1080 ultra in certain titles. Only a handful of cases, but I’m glad I didn’t choose 1440p. Games are becoming much more demanding. In short, ultra is not essential. Grab the monitor—you won’t be let down. I almost bought one myself, but I skipped it because of portability issues.

...also check out https://www.wsgf.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=95 There are a lot of tips and tricks to get some things working that may not from the start. There is even a mod for rpcs3 to get Demon's Souls working on ultrawide, which is a native PS3 title that is just emulated. Check nexus mods for the game of your choice as they may have mods for you game that either enable you I'm general to use ultrawide or fix HUD issues etc. I will buy a secondary monitor in the not so distant future and I want ultrawide again.
