You're weighing two options: upgrade your i3 4130 to an i7 4770K or stick with your current setup for a budget-friendly choice. The i7 4770K costs around $183 in your country, while the Ryzen 5 2600 with your specified specs totals $320. Consider performance needs versus savings.

I'm using my PC for various tasks, and my current experience is quite positive.

For gaming, the i3 isn't sufficient in most titles. I often experience stutters and lag spikes, which makes upgrading necessary. I also want to enjoy newer games like RD2 and Borderlands 3, where the CPU performance falls short.

Absolutely, it makes sense to plan ahead for the R5 2600 or save a bit more for the R5 3600. The price gap between them is significant. What graphics card are you running?

I'm working with a Sapphire Nitro RX460 4GB but now planning an upgrade. If I were to switch to the R5 3600, I'd need to cut about $50 off my budget. The next step would be moving from the RX460 to a 1060 6GB or RX580 8GB model.

Rx 460 with 4GB RAM performs adequately. Consider saving for an R5 3600 or waiting over a year for AMD’s next Ryzen release. What games are you enjoying or planning to play?

Ryzen offers a wider upgrade route. The 4770K has its boundaries, making the 4790K a more suitable choice if you plan to use it.

You're enjoying a variety of games like RDR2, Borderlands 3, Hitman, Fight Night: Darkside, Borderlands 2, BFZ, Overwatch, and Europa Universalis 4. It sounds like you're diving into some intense and strategic experiences! The CPU usage is definitely noticeable—great for those who prefer more thoughtful gameplay.
