I wouldn't consider a hard drive since SSDs are quite budget-friendly in the 1TB or lower category, something like this would be practical https://it.pcpartpicker.com/product/rxDJ...1480g0c101

I've got some updates, the main issue seems to be the temperatures. For my memory test, the CPU is running at 94°C. I might need to reapply thermal paste (which I already have) and clean the whole system. If that doesn't help, I'll try replacing the hard drive first, then do more tests.
