I looked for some time to locate what I needed. Eventually I discovered a few options, then decided which would be the easiest to change. I often checked manufacturers’ sites because they usually list more items, making it simpler to find what I wanted. I also used part numbers to locate products. I placed an order for the StarTech.com 15U 19" Wall Mount Network Rack - Adjustable Depth 12-20" 2 Post. I chose the 15U since it offered sufficient height, as I planned to switch it to a four-post rack (by cutting the posts in half). When I placed the order, it seemed like the best price. You’ll also see it can be fairly shallow, though you could make it even shallower if needed. I marked and cut it significantly, since it wouldn’t require extra rigidity for wall mounting. After reassembly with four posts, it performed well (with cuts below). As shown in the first photo, there’s a 1U surge protector and power distribution panel in that cut area—shelves are available in various depths, including 7". I also added some trimming to improve airflow and ensure fans had enough space.
