I believe Borderlands 2 is quite overlooked, but I play it often and find it really enjoyable. You can easily find it on G2A for around $15, so I definitely suggest giving it a try.
Borderlands 2 offers a lot of entertainment for its price. It's definitely a good value. The "Pre-Sequal" expansion is also recently launched, and people are saying positive things about it.
Borderlands 2 seems to be a bit exaggerated. The battles move slowly, the rewards feel uninteresting, and the experience becomes quite repetitive once you start through the early parts of the story.
