He can definitely go along with his instructions, as he’s also using an ASUS board. The BIOS will be mostly the same, with just a few differences in the LN2 overclocking options—those won’t be used. The overclocking steps are pretty much the same for both the 9700K and 9900K.

Comprehensive guides tend to be more helpful, though for beginners the suggested beginning is 1.3v 4.8ghz. From there you can monitor temperatures and either lower voltage or raise clock speed as long as stability is maintained.
