I'm exploring a possible setup within a £1000-£1200 budget, including all accessories. Right now I have two configurations listed on PC Part Picker. The pricier one includes a 3600 AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, an ASRock B450M Pro4-F motherboard, Corsair Vengeance memory, a Gigabyte RTX 2060 graphics card, and other components totaling around £1149.21. I'm planning to wait for the new Ryzen CPUs and Nvidia/Big Navi GPUs before finalizing anything. For the more affordable option, I'm considering a B550 motherboard. I'll keep an eye on prices and see what's available in the near future.
b550 pro4m, ATX variant, or A Pro are all options. For the B550 in general, it's a solid choice. The Tomahawk, Mortar, and Aorus Pro models are also viable. A Pro Max or Pro VDH Max will suffice too. MSD has confirmed support for Zen 3 on their B450 boards.

Avoid any major issues with this project. The 25a board isn't great, but the Pro 4F stands out overall. It's a good value and works well compared to what I've seen before. Other boards I mentioned were okay too.

B550-A Pro is an option if the price is high. The B550M Aorus Pro might suit you better, especially for better airflow on the VRMs when using a 3950X. Asrock boards often have memory issues beyond just G.Skill.
Thanks in advance, I’ll check it out. Honestly, all those 550 motherboards exceed what I’d prefer to invest in right now, though we’ll see how things develop later this year. In the near future, I won’t be pushing beyond a 3600, and likely only upgrading to something in the Ryzen 4000 lineup if needed.
