I purchased the MSI A320M-A Pro Max. However, it turns out the BIOS setting to control the 3-pin system fans via DC isn't valid since it doesn't actually support it in hardware. I discovered three affordable alternatives that do allow DC regulation, as indicated in their manuals: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX ($45), Gigabyte B450M-S2H ($50), and Gigabyte GA-A320M-H ($37). Any other suggestions?

Consider upgrading with modern 4-pin fans instead of replacing the entire motherboard.

You're correct, it seems like a basic setup with two quiet fans isn't ideal when spinning below 1000rpm. It might be simpler to purchase dedicated RPM fans. You're right, maybe I'll opt for the Arctic PST and skip the rest. I don't want to overspend, but even turning off the case fans wouldn't cause overheating with the 3200g.
