The AA post code is a reserved identifier for ASL. Here are some typical ASL codes: ACPI/ASL Check Points outline various system states from S1 to S5, with transitions like waking from sleep or entering specific modes. Make sure to access BIOS, disable power-saving features, and avoid letting the computer enter sleep until you're ready.

Consider a 5900X with a solid B550/X570 board for around $800. Add $200 for quicker DDR4 RAM based on speed. If needed, sell your CPU and old RAM, keeping the motherboard as backup. Don’t hesitate to go through all your changes again. You’ll notice about a 60% performance increase!

Intel 12th gen offers better performance, while AMD provides a more affordable option. Intel motherboards cost around $200 to $250, AMD's similar models are about $150 to $200, and DDR4 32GB memory is roughly $200. To stay near $800, you'd likely need the 12600k or 5600X. Among AMD, the 5800X is notably overpriced, but the 5900X seems reasonably priced for its features. The 5900X might be too costly, though I don't recommend the 5800X.
