I'm looking for a DDR5 6000 with a 30ms CAS latency. It should work with a 9800 X3D and an ASROCK X870 Pro RS priced around $200 on NewEgg. The case is Flux Pro, which means the black/white choice isn't crucial since the board has white/silver tones. The GPU is silverish (Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX). This build costs about $190 thanks to NewEgg deals but uses DDR56400 and 32. Any suggestions from NewEgg, Best Buy, or Amazon would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Cl30 6000MHz setup could be a solid choice. For pure gaming, a 64GB RAM is unnecessary unless you're into Minecraft or complex mods. In reality, you might be able to lower it to 6000MHz Cl30.

RGB RAM usually stands out because of their height; when pairing with a dual tower air cooler, check compatibility to avoid issues with the front fan. With AIO systems, it doesn’t matter much. The 6000MHz CL30 works best, and you can adjust it to 6000MHz in the BIOS settings.

64GB is the suggested amount for MSFS 2024.

Just stick with 2x16GB or 2x32GB options only. Avoid any 4x configurations.

Game sizes stay under 30GB, typically ranging from 20 to 25GB. Using more RAM doesn’t help much; the biggest improvements come around 96GB or higher, but even then it doesn’t feel very impressive.

Ddr5 6000 cl34 or below typically maps to c32 or c30, c28 seems like a scam based on what I know, and c26 are correctly categorized. For higher speeds like 8000c32 below 1.6v or 8000c30 below 1.7v, you’d need more voltage than standard kits usually require at those settings. With 6400c32 you can simply adjust the clock to 6200 and set UCLK to memclk; most CPUs should handle it, though only a few support 6400. If 6200 doesn’t work, your IMX might be faulty, but it should still function at 6000 even with subpar IMXs or primaries (excluding trade-in). Performance isn’t greatly affected by these choices unless you’re targeting very specific binned options like 6000c26 for certain chips or older DDR4 configurations. This usually only impacts overclocking scenarios. You usually pay more for higher CL due to binning, but it doesn’t always translate to noticeable gains unless you’re using specialized dies or specific memory types.

Hey everyone, do you think there are better brands available? I'm not sure if this link is working properly. It seems to sort by specific filters like 6000 and CL30 on 64GB kits from NewEgg. Also, I was hoping for the smallest possible timings in each part of the series.

It's a huge mistake to think it's too much—max is only 25GB, so 32GB is completely okay

Usually I don’t have to save anything when launching a game. I often look at files larger than 28GB right away.
