Hey thanks for stopping by. Im aware there are some very tech savvy people on here and wanted to ask for advice. I am currently rocking a gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 R5 with an AMD 9370 fx which im aware doesnt suit my 980ti. I am looking to upgrade the CPU but i know that i might have to replace my motherboard due to the socket. Does anybody know any cheap combinations of motherboard and CPU which work well with a 980ti. Budget of around £600 I currently have DDR3 memory Thanks for your help

For optimal performance, consider upgrading to an i7-4770 or comparable CPU. Newer options such as Ryzen need DDR4 support. Within your budget, these choices are feasible. PCPartPicker provides the relevant parts list.
