Hey there! I’ve been running out of games to enjoy. I usually prefer first-person shooters. So far, the Battlefield series has been my go-to. I was thinking about getting COD AW (for story mode), but ended up picking the Ultimate edition, which really drained my stash—two games gone. I also lean toward games with great visuals rather than intense gameplay, which is why I’ve skipped League and CStrike. I’m looking for something around $70 max, FPS style, with solid graphics and no explicit content. Why can’t I just play BFH? I’m getting low frames—around 70—and the maps are loading slowly. I’ll have to wait until my hardware improves.

It's like playing Arma 3, though some might find it tricky with 70 Low.

metro games are decent but lack emotional depth. Bioshock is also excellent, along with Fallout titles (including 3 and New Vegas). Are 70fps really low frame rates?

Have you explored Insurgency? You can find it here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/222880/. Also, Wolfenstein: New Order is available at http://store.steampowered.com/app/201810/. I purchased the first one on the Christmas Steam sale for around $15 and really liked it. They plan to release a sequel in May or June for about $20.

Heard it doesn't integrate well with FX chips. Monitor runs at 144Hz, which feels solid enough for me—80 to 90 Hz should work fine. Thanks, will check more.

Playing cod for story? (Edit: I can see if it's because of hackers in multiplayer, haven't played cod in a while though) Favoring graphics over gameplay? Considering 70fps low? "Waiting for better hardware" <-- What does that even mean!?

Wolfenstein: The New Order stands out as one of the top FPS titles in 2014, featuring some sexual content (2-3 scenes, brief and symbolic). Metro 2033 and Last Light impress with their atmosphere and visuals, making them great picks for fans of post-apocalyptic settings. Deus Ex: Human Revolution offers a compelling narrative, stylish aesthetics, and engaging gameplay, blending solid RPG elements with its cyberpunk design—definitely worth exploring for its graphics.

Given their 290X specs and a 70-90 FPS target, I’m expecting they’ll be relying on the forthcoming 300-series AMD graphics cards.

It's a recurring pattern of 295 multiplied by 2.
