I just received my Valve Index yesterday and I'm looking for some recommendations to pickup. For now I'm avoiding anything that uses Revive, regardless I don't really want to give FB any money anyway. Here's a list of what I already have. HL: Alyx Pavlov VR Walking Dead: S&S Boneworks Swords of Gargantua I Expect You To Die Raw Data SW: Squadrons No Man's Sky Elite Dangerous Zero Caliber A-Tech Cybernetic VR Archangel: Hellfire Creed
It's a decent amount, but not too extreme—just enough to feel realistic without being overwhelming.
It can be as much, or as little as you want. The F/A-18's a bit over my head, but any of the Flaming Cliff planes, like the F-15, Su-27, A-10A, don't have fully clickable cockpits, so you'll have a realistic flight model and radar, but you don't have to mess around with the different modes and intricacies like you would have to if you were in the F-14/16/18 or A-10C modules. 99% of my time in DCS is spend in the F-15C, it's awesome, especially for BVR stuff.
You’ll find plenty of helpful YouTube guides to explore various planes and systems, along with Chuck's Guides for deeper insights. IL-2 and VotlVR are also solid options if you prefer a simpler flying experience. Project Wingman offers an arcade-like feel similar to popular racing games. Dirt Rally 2.0 and Project Cars 2 Assetto Coursa provide engaging challenges.
