Sony Vegas is a solid tool for simple editing tasks, it was my initial real editing software. Yet Adobe Premiere Pro offers a smoother experience and greater flexibility. If you can, I strongly suggest choosing After Effects and Premiere since they work well together, simplifying the process instead of transferring videos between programs. My advice: go with Premiere over Sony Vegas for a more enjoyable workflow.
They don't work well together since they are entirely separate applications.
It's fine if you're 9 years old making Minecraft. It's better than a 12-year-old quickly choosing a scene in advanced warfare.
