He installed all the patches and security updates, making ISO images for Vista and 7 ready for download. His Windows 7 supports USB 3.0 and NVMe SSDs. A Windows 7 enthusiast named Bob Pony compiled images with security fixes up to January 2026. Microsoft just released the last security update for Vista, which had been receiving updates through Premium Assurance for nearly seven years. Now every update is bundled in one ISO file you can burn to a USB or DVD. The article was published today and it seems the site is under heavy traffic. It will take about three days for me to download the Win 7 and Vista ISO files (both x86 and x64). These are available on the Internet Archive. UPDATE! I started using the Vista ISO, but some suspicious files appeared. I won’t continue. Proceed at your own risk! I don’t understand why they weren’t detected before. Defender usually handles threats better. Sorry.

He, Bob Pony, changed the Win 7 file to a torrent in case someone faced issues with the regular download yesterday.

Windows Defender detected the file, but Malwarebytes didn’t see any issues. Online checks suggest some antivirus programs, like Defender, may generate false alarms. Trust your own assessment and avoid making hasty decisions—this appears to be a genuine file with no malicious intent based on current reports.
