the game isn't running smoothly even at low settings. Could you tell me what steps you've already tried to fix it? Sometimes small tweaks make a big difference.

You’d likely require an entirely different setup. Your processor and graphics card aren’t suitable for gaming, and there’s no way to upgrade the CPU.

Reduce all visual settings to their simplest level. Try forcing the video card driver to use even lower defaults by running the game executable and adjusting custom settings that bypass the in-game options. Play at a reduced resolution such as 1280x720. Look through Steam forums for guides on modifying game configuration files to lower image quality and boost frame rates. Some games may hide default graphics settings in menus that can be edited.
