Hi All,
I recently purchased an RTX 5080 and am excited to test it out. Could you all suggest:
1. The top-rated game for my RTX 5080, even if not the best in terms of gameplay. I’m just curious about how impressive it could look.
2. A modern Rainbow Six style title that has good graphics. I used to enjoy those games but they’re quite old now. Are there any updated versions of squad-based or mission-rescue games (like terrorists, hostages, etc.)? I’ve played Battlefield 6 campaign and found it lacking in both graphics and quality, with many bugs.
3. A visually appealing sci-fi game, perhaps something similar to Star Trek, without being too specific. I’m open to any cool sci-fi options.
4. Lastly, a great-looking dungeon crawler or fantasy game, maybe something like Elden Ring? I’m really looking forward to Skyrim in the near future, but it’s still a while away. Is that right?
Thanks for your help!

Looking forward to gathering some games to enjoy over the holidays!
By the way, tomorrow I plan to try getting Cyberpunk 2077 to work on my Quest 3 using my RTX 5080. I really hope this will be a great experience *fingers crossed*… anyone has it running smoothly?

If you haven't, you should check out Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2. Dark Souls is also worth considering if you enjoy Elden Ring.

I believe Elden Ring is the top game I've played this year, just like the Dark Souls series. It doesn't really harm your graphics card.

Additionally, I suggest trying Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with path tracing—it's impressive.

Initially, not everyone concentrates on 60 fps when path tracing delivers impressive outcomes like in this game and Cyberpunk. Secondly, I really enjoyed setting it up with a 4070 Super at 4k, using nearly maximum settings, which is why he could have a better experience with a 5080 if he agrees with my view.

1) Humor
2) If you're aiming for PS4 frame rates, proceed.

I also got a 5080 this year, congratulations.
I've tested numerous games and Assassins Creed Shadows can be impressive at times.
What kind of monitor are you using? I also picked up a 34" ultrawide Alienware OLED and the HDR really shines. I wasn't aware many titles offered such excellent HDR.

Hey there,
I'm a bit late, but I think Indian Jones and the Great Circle is a solid pick. It includes RT effects, but with that card you could really highlight its strengths. It performs well across various GPUs, though tweaking eye candy, performance settings, it would look great. Ooh, sorry. I see
@LordVile mentioned this too. It's quite nice. I play on a 4070 S without maxing out RT (it doesn't really help me), but it's a great game that should run smoothly on a 5080.
Also, since it's single-player, you can boost FG and increase GFX volume. Even though it adds some latency, it's not the kind of game where that's a big issue.

Drool.com !
Just about to remove a kidney and resell it for a gaming monitor. V Nice
👍
I own an LG C4 Oled and have used it—perfect performance. The latency is amazing at just 0.03. It's really impressive.
Now, you might let me slide for a second, since I'm searching for the scalpel 😷
