Optimizer Textures helps create minimaps and adjusts texture sizes for better performance in Skyrim Performance PLUS. It enhances tree leaves, snow, and rain effects, as well as Dynamic Distant Objects LOD & TES5LODGen to fill missing levels. The changes significantly improved my experience. Have you observed any patterns when performance drops?

It's mostly just playing outside. I used to think it only happened in certain spots on the map, but when I saved in areas with low FPS and reloaded, I got back up to 30 frames per second. So I'm not sure anymore.

I’m really let down—I thought DDOL would assist, but I became annoyed installing it earlier. I’m scared it could ruin my mods.

Have you explored any particle effect tweaks or grass mod adjustments?

I improved the frame rate by tweaking textures and using SPP; the biggest boosts likely came from Vividian ENB Bigger Trees (confirmed by Tek Syn). The Trees HD Skyrim Flora update, along with new grasses and ground covers, added a fresh touch.

I worry about DDOL since I rely on CoT, but I feel confident otherwise. Looking at static mesh enhancements for Sky Falls and mulling over SFO.

Are you currently using ENBoost? I’d like to mention a potential memory management problem, though I’m not sure what’s going on. Oh, I understand now—no need to stress. It took me a full weekend to set it up because I had more than 500 mods installed (thanks Merge Plugins xEdit Script), and the installation was pretty complicated even without trying to check compatibility. Gamerpoets’ video explains how to swap skyfalls with DDLOD, which I found useful and interesting since those skyfalls were likely his or their mod. It also covers SMIM. The biggest challenge was getting through it. From a performance perspective, I don’t think DDLOD will make much of a difference, even though it did help improve my speed. Your system is so much more powerful than mine (a laptop with Core Duo Quad and GT 130m). If you decide to try it, make sure to back up your data first—just do it properly, not just casually.

It actually provided a decent boost to my progress, helping me overcome challenges I was struggling with. It wasn't flawless and sometimes dropped below 24, but during my tests it made some difficult sections functional that had previously been frustrating (like the bandit camp near the north side of Riftin Lake).

Great, I might need to give it a shot myself. :edit: The focus in the clips is quite bothersome.
