I see your point too. Using Cl14 or Cl16 would be ideal. The RAM I ordered has risen in price about two months ago—from $119 to $170. It’s a letdown, but it should work well and cause few problems.

I recommend a 3600MHz motherboard kit from the QVL selection, as this increases the likelihood of smooth operation without problems.

QVL lists are released when the board goes out and rarely change over time. SK Hynix kits from Corsair tend to be tricky to manage. They often struggle with timing, though they can handle most schedules effectively.

I've seen it happen—when the QVL indicates certain brands will perform at lower MHz, the boards meant for that setup often need a different board or a new stick.
