I'm helping set up a new computer for a young student who's just learning to play. Since he's 10 and this is his first time, I want safe, fun games that are easy to understand. I need suggestions for free games that are appropriate for his age and interests.

It seems like you're thinking about Roblox. Many children enjoy playing there. You might want to check Steam for free games; there are numerous options without violence.

She allowed him to try GTA V. I’d check out Roblox, and perhaps Valorant or Overwatch. They seem okay for a 10-year-old, though parents need to decide about multiplayer and interacting with strangers online.

Explore short RPGs featuring a reaper character striving to rescue her spectral sibling. A brief, enjoyable experience fits into about twenty minutes. Consider cheaper alternatives like Portal 1 and 2 for a solid pick.
