I understand you're likely receiving quite a few of these daily, but here are some details:
1. What is your budget? I think around 500 max.
2. What notebook size are you thinking about? Any size is fine, just not too small.
3. What resolution do you prefer on the screen? 1080 is ideal.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? I don’t have much clarity on this.
5. How long do you expect the battery to last? I’m not sure.
6. Would you like to play games with your laptop? If yes, please list the games you’re interested in and the settings you prefer (Low, Medium or High).
Medium/low – such as League of Legends, Pummel Party, Euro Truck Sim
7. Are there any other tasks you’d like to perform on your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, etc.)
Not sure
8. What storage capacity do you require? Something like 256GB would work.
9. If you have specific websites in mind for purchasing, please share their links.
Any sites
10. How long do you plan to keep the laptop? I’m in my final year of high school and will likely use it in college.
11. What type of optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer, Bluray ROM/Writer, etc.?
Not sure
12. Could you tell us which brands you prefer and which ones you don’t like, along with your reasons?
Any are common, just more familiar to me.
13. Where are you from? USA or Brazil?
14. Any extra details you’d like to provide?
For example, I have a PC in Brazil but am currently in the US, so I’m searching for a laptop that’s affordable. I probably need one for college too, and it should support some gaming.

Choose the top laptop available within your specifications. Look through various deals, compare prices at Costco and other places, and select the one that suits you best.

Any dimension that's not quite large enough, what's too limited? You need a full-sized display, around 14 to 15 inches or similar?
For games fitting your budget, you're likely considering a used machine with a genuine graphics card—perhaps an nVidia 1050 Ti for roughly 500 USD, or a newer model with a Ryzen 5 processor.
A Dell option would suit you; the Ryzen 5 is ideal for smooth gameplay at 1080p, and a 256 GB storage should comfortably hold several titles.

You might consider increasing the price slightly, as laptop upgrades are limited by storage and RAM. Buying a Ryzen 7 could be about $150 more.

An Acer Nitro 5 is also affordable if you stick to lower drive and RAM specifications.
