I shared this motherboard with someone who had a 9700x Ryzen and asked about BIOS updates, power connectors, the red LED near the CPU connectors, and whether similar boards are available for photos. I believe it uses a low-power LED with just one plug, as no instructions suggest otherwise, and some users have successfully used it despite the single connection.

Damn... what kind of potato is this photo taken on? Really, wasn't there a better way to capture it? There should be a flashlight nearby—maybe one with a flashlight. That spot up there has the EZ BIOS flash button. If it's blinking red, that means the BIOS flashing is happening. It should be off once the process finishes.

I didn't capture the image; I assumed it might be a low-power LED or similar. The BIOS version is on the board, and I've noticed some boards using red LEDs for power problems. The 9700X was installed but failed to boot—would the chip function normally with this board, or would a BIOS upgrade be necessary before use?

It requires BIOS version 7E16v16 released on or after July 1, 2024. Earlier BIOS versions could prevent proper startup with the CPU.
