Just sharing this again because you started another thread for a reason. The original titles—Half-Life, Half-Life 2+, Left 4 Dead 2, and Day of Defeat: Source—are definitely worth revisiting. I grew up with them, so I’m a bit biased. If I had to choose, I’d go for the Source Multiplayer Pack, then Left 4 Dead 2, and finally Garry’s Mod. Why? The Source Multiplayer Pack includes DoD:S, CS:S, and HL2
