Looking for ideas on a fresh gaming system?
I'm searching for a fresh gaming setup to swap out my outdated, partially non-functional unit. I'm not sure if I should assemble one myself, but I don't want to invest much—maybe a bit over $1100—and I'm not sure there are good prebuilt options available.
I'm aiming for something like a Nvidia Geforce card with a model number above 3040, a processor like Ryzen 5 or i5 at 3GHz minimum, fan cooling only, at least two SATA ports, four USB ports, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM.
With a budget around $1100, it's tough to find a decent system, especially one that fits all these specs. I've been browsing everywhere without much luck, and reading through so many options that it's hard to focus. My mind is still swirling from all this thinking, but I'm hoping I won't have to replace my current setup too soon if I can't find a suitable one soon.
You might want to stylize your post akin your thread like so; *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice First off, respect where respect is due - this is an adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I created this because there's a lot of posts nowadays asking for upgrade advice both on here and on the CPU forums, and I feel... forums. and the community can move forward with constructive suggestions.
By "over GeForce 3040" it likely refers to a GPU with higher specifications, such as an RTX 3050 or more powerful option. A comparison to a non-existent GPU is uncommon, and we aim to clarify your needs.

Yes, today has been quite hectic and exhausting for me. I was in the middle of searching for the best 30XX model and probably missed something.
