I own an Asus Strix Rog Z790-E motherboard and am facing problems with the Ethernet controller causing random drops. They suggested returning it for repair and sending a refurbished unit. I’m considering rebuilding my PC on a different board instead. I’m leaning toward purchasing a 2.5Gb PCI card because it’s easier to install than swapping a whole motherboard. Please advise whether a full motherboard swap is the best choice or if the PCI card would suffice. Thanks!
