You just played the latest Hitman and were completely stunned. It was an incredible adventure that made me want more. Looking for comparable titles? When will the next version be released? Will there ever be another Hitman?

In my view, Splinter Cell stands out as the top straightforward choice.

It looks promising... doesn’t have that Hitman vibe at all. I’ll give it a shot. Playing as Agent 47 really boosts confidence and a sense of control.

No recent updates have been made that I’m aware of. It seems the game performed reasonably well, though another installment in the series isn’t surprising given its release last year. Expectations vary depending on what you’re looking for in a Hitman experience. While many titles offer stealth and assassination mechanics, few match Hitman’s unique style except other entries in the franchise. You might explore similar games, remembering that Absolution is often regarded as the series’ lowest point. Contracts and Blood Money are classic but quite dated.

I tried Absolution—it wasn't the same as other Hitman titles. Blood Money is the one I enjoy the most.

Are there more sandbox elements here? The game appears to focus on a clear goal, guiding you through stages one at a time as the story unfolds. You lack the flexibility and endless options typically found in open-ended play.

I hesitate to suggest it because I'll freely admit it's not much like Hitman, but this comment makes me think of Deus Ex. They're more RPGs than anything else, and the stealth is really not much like Hitman, but they do offer a lot of freedom to approach objectives in different ways. The story missions are objective-based, but the level design is generally excellent and they're full of different hidden paths. Here's a review that hits on a lot of these points: If what you want is another game where "stealth" means hiding in plain sight in densely crowded parties you weren't invited to and finding clever ways to manipulate intricate AI routines, there isn't much else that does that.
