Hello everyone, welcome! Here’s a revised version of your message:

Hello everyone, good day! I’m reaching out about testing and installing the new CPU. Right now, I’m running a B450 Tomahawk Max after upgrading from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600. I’m using an air cooler called Deep Cool Gammaxx GTE V2 and have applied fresh thermal paste. After booting into Windows 10, everything seems to be working perfectly. However, I’m worried about the CPU installation process—did I do it right? Could there be any issues during setup? Also, I’m concerned about tightening the screws on the air cooler too much. Are there any ways to confirm if the CPU and cooler are installed correctly? If you have any recommendations for software or tips to check the new CPU performance, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

Cinebench R23 works well for testing performance, Ryzen Master helps monitor temperatures and power usage, and it’s useful for evaluating load handling.

Hello, your question is clear. We should focus on key metrics like core temperature. The HWInfo tool works well with CPU temps below 70°C during heavy use, but you notice variations (+3-5°C per core). Uneven CPU placement or cooler setup can cause these differences. If the CPU reads correctly in system tools and other programs are functioning, it’s likely the installation succeeded.

Mistakes cause problems. Success means you handled it well.

If cooler isn't secured properly, it can lead to higher core temperatures on certain cores—often exceeding 3-5°C. A small variation in core temperature is typical. Below are my reference readings for comparison. The temperatures shown on the left correspond to the moment the screenshot was taken (during light idle). You'll notice a difference of about 6°C, which is within normal ranges. Your readings look acceptable.
