Hello, I need to add another 8GB RAM module for dual-channel setup. My laptop is a Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN 80WK00Y9R I. It came with an 8GB RAM module from the factory: RAM model RAMXEL RAMRMSA3260MH78HAF-2666. I’m unsure which one to choose since I can’t find RAM in my country. Also, the manufacturer’s site says it only supports 2400MHz, but I see it installed at 2666MHz. CPUZ data suggests more info here: MemoryCPUZ. Thank you!

Installed supports up to 2666 units, but performance is at 2400 across CPU-Z, Memory Tab, Timings, and DRAM Frequency sections. Locating matching RAM can be difficult, particularly because Ramaxel isn't widely recognized. You might want to search for similar models with comparable capacity, speed, and timing settings. Some devices are quite strict about memory choices, so you may need to settle for the best available option.

Search for PC4-21300 8GB SODIMM on Newegg, Amazon or eBay. It’s a DDR4 2666 MHz SO-DIMM that fits desktops but not laptops. Keep it under $30 including taxes and shipping.
