Hey everyone! I'm building my first ever gaming rig! My goals are to create a powerful, future proof, and overall long lasting rig. I've built pcs before but nothing that costed more than 100$ and its been about 8 years since the last time I was up to date on everything so I'm still trying to catch up with the new tech. I'm operating on a budget of hopefully under 2500$ and would like to complete the rig around mid august. Any comments, suggestions, or anything else you may have to say is welcome. Thank you! One of my main struggles is finding a motherboard with compatibility and performance. Also would the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor and the EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB KO GAMING Video Card work well together? EDIT: The link has been updated I realized the list I had tweaked wasn't the one I posted sorry for any inconvenience Heres my list >>>>>> [PCPartPicker Part List]( https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/XgxrFG )

I’d hold off another couple of months for Zen 3 and NVIDIA Ampere if you’re aiming to start in August. *$450 is a huge price for such a basic model.*

Are the monitor and keyboard costs included in the budget? I've already listed $3200 for the build, and that keyboard price is quite high.

So your not building it now ? Then wait for zen 3 Also for 2500 dollars You can do what better then this. Considering the prices are too high right now and your not even building it until August Wait for zen 3. As for your original question. What's your budget for the board ?

Zen 3 is not a pre-built unit but a motherboard. For a budget around $250, it should fit your needs.

Sure! The list has been revised because some prices are hidden, and I’d like to add the accessories to the budget as well.

I mentioned it but I’ll hold off on the answer. For your budget, the Tomahawk X570 or B550 seems like a solid pick. The X570 board features 6 power stages (double the 12) at 60A, using ISL 6617 for doublers—definitely capable. Just keep in mind the upcoming Zen 3 (Ryzen 4000) release.

I removed it since the tool didn<|pad|> to not show a good price, hehe. Regarding the Zen 3 or Nvidia Ampere, I haven't heard much about them and I'm not sure what they are. Sorry, I'm a bit new to this stuff.

These are the latest upcoming offerings from AMD and NVIDIA. Anticipating their launch fits your schedule since you'll receive better performance for the same cost.

It looks like you're wondering whether the delay in getting Zen 3 chips is due to prices dropping on older models or if you should wait for the new CPUs when they become available.
