Hi, your MacBook Air 2013 is still working in Disk Management and Windows 11, but you're having trouble accessing the drive. The disk isn't encrypted, and it's running as a Fat32 system, which might explain why some tools don't recognize it. You tried using "Mac Drive 10 Pro" and "HFSExplorer," but faced errors. Since the drive doesn't appear in regular explorer and only shows up in BIOS or Disk Utility, formatting it might be the best option to recover the data before losing important files.

Do you recall the operating system version the computer was using?

It might be APFS if the MacBook Air received an update. You can find several tools that support APFS on Windows, and most offer a free trial.

It seems unlikely, though. It might relate to the operating system released with the Mac, or possibly a 2019 Catalina update.

It appears Petagons APFS managed to locate it, though it remains encrypted.

Now everything functions properly with Paragon Software, though they mentioned encryption which seems misleading. Thanks for your effort!
